My name, Eneami, is Nigerian and it means, my day is coming. My father, who is from Nigeria, came to the United States at a young age. As he struggled to settle into this country, he was hopeful that one day he would not struggle and that he would be able to provide for himself and his family. Hence, when I was born, he named me, Eneami as a declaration that his day was coming. I believe this is a declaration that holds true, not only for my father, but for myself and others whom I encounter, as well.
